Vodafone Warriors v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles this Saturday

This Saturday 27th of February, the Vodafone Warriors take on Australian team Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at the North Harbour Stadium.

Come along to support them, with adults tickets priced between $15.00 and $30.00, and children’s entry free!

The game starts at 5.00 pm at the North Harbour Stadium in Albany.

Blues Vs Hurricanes – Huge crowd creates bottlenecks

The largest Super 14 crowd since 1997 created a number of challenges for stadium bosses last night.

16,000 tickets were pre-sold for the event and a further 7,000 turned up on the night looking to purchase a ticket at the ground. This created a bottleneck at various areas and included waits of up to 30 minutes at ticket pick-up counters.

North Shore City Council are trying to promote the use of bicycles for commuters, and there are two opportunities for people keen to give cycling a go.

On Thursday 11th February, 6pm to 8pm at North Harbour Stadium, Albany, there will be a Beginner Bike Session for Adults – and it’s free!

This will be an opportunity for beginners to learn the basics of cycling and road safety in a safe and supportive environment, with bikes and helmets available for those who do not have access to them.
